Had a below average meal here on a Sunday. Restaurant was empty at 6.30pm. Was once a fantastic restaurant however the rice was mushy and the beef (wagyu) tough as an old boot. The roti dripping in oil. The pancakes passable but I really hate eating imported prawns from South East Asia. Disappointing meal as I had fond memories of the mid-2000s and early 10s when it was a heaving restaurant with super fresh food and was hard to get into. Last visit for me unfortunately and I wish I cooked at home as the food was that bad. Not the serving staff’s issue but the poor quality of food was mentioned, but no interest shown by thee staff (but they did still try to get a tip when paying).
Fantastic and reasonably priced Vietnamese restaurant. Great fresh ingredients with really friendly service. All this in a great atmosphere!
You have to try the lamb dishes... nice combination of flavours. The fresh papaya salad is amazing, and the scallop dumplings amongst the best.
Discover a culinary haven at Vietnamese, where Vietnamese cuisine meets excellence. With a warm ambiance, attentive staff, and a menu featuring healthy delights, it's the perfect blend of flavor.
Fresh and yummy Vietnamese food. Courtyard is great when the weather is nice. Will definitely be back. Parking can be a bit tricky in the area with mostly 2 hour limits.
Absolutely rammed! This was the most packed I've ever seen a set of restaurants since the start of covid. One fatal sneeze could've condemned the nation back into solitude.
However if this was the last meal I was having for a while it was worth it.
The service was a bit lacklustre due to the numbers but they did their best.
The spring rolls were really nice bite sized crunchy tasty with the accompanying sauce. The yellow curry was the star, the taste was amazing I could've drank it like a milkshake. The salt and pepper tofu was excellent too, they used the soft tofu which is difficult to handle at best let alone keep its shape.
I wish they had more vegan dishes but the ones they had they knocked it out of the park.
I enjoyed my dining experience here! Went with a group of friends (4 of us) and shared some dishes - curry, salad, veges etc.
It was delicious, easy to book and I’d recommend for a casual dinner!
Pretty good Vietnamese Restaurant. Very busy during the night and you better book first before going. Lots of choices, moderate to high price. And the most importantly is the food is really good in here.
This is a 4.5 review. The most delicious, delicate and well defined flavors that I have tried on a Vietnamese place. The service is very quick. All the dishes where well presented. We tried two entries. The Duck and Prawn Pancakes have a fresh mix of flavors, it taste like spring. The blue swimmer crab dumplings are crunchy and tasty. The mains come in good portions. The Crispy pork belly it’s full on flavors ( best I have ever tried). And the Wagyu Beef it’s a serious plate, with perfect caramelized onions, chunks of juicy beef that contrast with the balsamic dressing. I would rate the place with 5 stars, even when I understand that it’s a very busy place and need to have as many tables availability as posible, I believe the staff could be more friendly at the moment of interact with the guests and not to make you feel like they need you to eat quick.
